
Friday is game night for our family. It's a chance to unwind, have some lightweight competitive fun and 100 percent an excuse to come up with a tasty snack to share. The first time we made this mix, it was total happenstance. The kids wanted popcorn and I think we had less than two tablespoons, which is a laughable amount in this family. What we did have however, was the last bit of crumbs in a bag of chips, and a small bag of snack pretzels. Going for a trail-mix vibe and my mom's classic 'make something out of nothing' ambition, I mixed it all together, tossed it with butter, nutritional yeast and our spicy chili salt (which is our kids' favorite of the TRH seasoning lineup). The results were delicious, and it's now an easy family favorite! The best thing about it? It really is a less than 10-minute creation that you can throw together with just about any crunchy, salty or neutral snacks you have hanging out in your pantry.
